I am a Grande Prairie girl born and raised. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to help people and Nursing seemed like the perfect fit! I completed my degree at Grande Prairie Regional College through the University of Alberta collaborative program. I have a seven year history as a Registered Nurse, with the majority of my experience in home care and with seniors health. I am passionate about helping others and have a fondness for Seniors. I learned early in my nursing career that the senior population was where my heart was happiest. I have been with my husband for twelve years, we live in Grande Prairie with our son and two fur babies. I recently became a mom to an energetic, happy and amazing little boy. This new chapter in my life has really set my soul on fire and prompted me to take big risks where the sky is the limit! I wanted to find something that would allow me to have the best of both worlds; making a difference in people's lives while also being a present and dedicated mother. I am passionate about making others experiences personable and positive ensuring they feel heard and respected. I recognize the struggles the older adult population can face in life transitions and want to help make these life changes easier. I believe everyone has a voice and a story that deserves to be heard. I love helping others awaken this in order to be an advocate for themselves.
